From September 8 to October 6 at 12:00 p.m., the Vilkaviškis District Municipality invites applications under the Vilkaviškis District Municipality Small and Medium-Sized Business Financing Program. The Vilkaviškis District Municipality has allocated €30,000.00 for the SME financing program in its 2023 budget.
The competition is announced in accordance with the following forms of financing:
Partial compensation for the purchase of equipment (new and/or used) when a new (additional) job is created by hiring an employee (or employees) under an employment contract (or contracts);
Partial compensation for the purchase of equipment (new and/or used) when a new job is created for oneself, carrying out activities under an individual activity certificate;
Partial financing of a project implemented by an SME entity;
Adaptation of infrastructure for persons with mobility disabilities.
Partial compensation for the purchase of equipment (new and/or used) when a new (additional) job is created by hiring an employee (employees) under an employment contract (contracts)
1. SMEs that have created at least one new (additional) job and employed a full-time employee no earlier than 12 months prior to the date of application and have incurred the following costs may apply:
up to 100% may be allocated for each new job created, but not more than EUR 2,000.00 (excluding VAT, if the SME is a VAT payer) partial compensation (while maintaining the job created and not reducing the number of employees for at least two years) per calendar year;
for two jobs created, an SME may be granted up to EUR 3,500.00 (excluding VAT, if the SME is a VAT payer) partial compensation (maintaining the jobs created and not reducing the number of employees for at least two years) per calendar year;
for three or more jobs created, an SME may be granted partial compensation of up to EUR 5,000.00 (excluding VAT, if the SME is a VAT payer) (while maintaining the jobs created and not reducing the number of employees for at least two years) per calendar year.
2. The costs of work equipment (new and/or used) related to the improvement of workplace conditions are not compensated.
3. Under this measure, the equipment must be related to the functioning of the workplace to provide services and/or manufacture goods, products, etc.
4. Costs may be financed if they are not repeatedly financed/planned to be financed from other financial support measures.
5. A permanent employment contract(s) must be concluded with the hired employee(s).
6. The newly hired employee(s) must be residents of the municipality.
7. Compensation under this measure shall be granted to an SME entity to compensate for expenses incurred, but not earlier than 12 months prior to the date of submission of the application for financial support.
Partial compensation for the purchase of equipment (new and/or used) when creating a new job for oneself, carrying out activities under individual activity with a certificate
New SMEs carrying out activities under individual activity with a certificate and having created a job for themselves are eligible to apply.
Up to 100%, but not more than EUR 2,000.00 (excluding VAT, if the SME is a VAT payer) partial compensation (while maintaining the created job for at least two years) per calendar year may be granted.
The costs of work equipment (new and/or used) related to improving workplace conditions are not compensated.
Under this measure, the equipment must be related to the functioning of the workplace to provide services and/or manufacture goods, products, etc.
Expenses may be financed if they are not repeatedly financed/planned to be financed from other financial support measures.
The established workplace must be directly related to the economic activity specified in the individual activity certificate.
A job is considered to be self-employed if the net income of the self-employed person during the reporting year is not less than 12 (twelve) minimum monthly wages set by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
Compensation under this measure is granted to a new SME entity to compensate for expenses incurred, but not earlier than 12 months prior to the date of submission of the application for financial support.
Partial financing of a project implemented by an SME entity
Partial financing of business projects implemented with funds from the European Union and other support funds – from EUR 1,000.00 to EUR 5,000.00, but not more than 50% of the SME's own funds (contribution) for the implementation of the project.
The projects implemented must be aimed at the development of the SME (purchase of necessary equipment, rental and/or adaptation of premises for economic and commercial activities, and other activities directly related to the implementation of the project).
Funding is allocated to projects that create jobs during their implementation.
Compensation under this measure is allocated to the SME entity in accordance with the project financing (support) agreement signed no earlier than 12 months prior to the date of submission of the application.
Adaptation of infrastructure for persons with mobility disabilities
Partial compensation of expenses for adapting infrastructure for persons with mobility disabilities in the territory of the SME entity (installation of ramps, purchase of mobile ramps, etc.) – compensation of up to 50% of the costs, but not more than EUR 1,000.00 (excluding VAT, if the SME is a VAT payer).
Expenses may be financed if they are not repeatedly financed/planned to be financed from other financial support measures.
Compensation under this measure is granted for expenses incurred by the same SME, but not earlier than 12 months prior to the date of submission of the application for financial support.
